Remote Blower: What is it?

The remote blower kit allows the ability to install the motor away from the hood, freeing it from architectural constraints and reduces noise in the kitchen. This is especially beneficial when installing a downdraft cooker hood as you would have more space in your kitchen cabinet where the motor would be placed if you opted for a standard one.

The same principle applies to ceiling mounted hoods as the use of the remote blower kit will decrease the amount of depth needed behind the celling when installing the hood.
